Access to Information and Privacy
The GCMS (Global Case Management System) is IRCC’s system that they use in order to assess and process Canadian Immigration application(s). The system has various details of each applicant(s) application, including any and all requests made by IRCC to the applicant(s). This included but not limited to any and all documents received from the applicant(s), in-depth info from the officers reviewing an application as it progresses through its life cycle. The GCMS notes can help in understanding where a file is in its lifecycle and also in some cases help move along an application that has taken a long time for processing.
Immigration Interview Preparation
If you have received a landing interview request. It is very important to make sure you understand your application and any questions that may be asked at the landing interview. Making sure no critical information that should have been updated or payments outstanding are made/cleared is critical.
If you have received a spousal interview request, this could be the difference between an approval or the beginning of potentially having to conduct a stressful and lengthy appeal if the application is rejected.
Application(s) Review(s)
